The RADIONE Mpox Detection kit is an in vitro diagnostic medical device, based on Real-time PCR technology to detect the Mpox(Monkeypox) virus DNA.
The kit is intended for the presumptive qualitative detection of nucleic acid extracted from the Monkeypox virus (Clade 1, Clade 2 and Orthopox Generic Strain) in human skin lesion or swab specimens obtained from patients with signs and symptoms of Mpox.
The RADIONE system is a Point of Care(POC) machine including nucleic acid
extraction, amplification, and detection from samples using real-time PCR technology,
delivering efficient and accurate results.
The Kit must be used together with the RADIONE Universal DNA/RNA extractionKit(
KP001) on the RADIONE instrument(KM009), as they are designed to be
used in combination to get the final results.
